For me, fashion is not just about fabric it’s about legacy. I grew up in a family where excellence was the standard. My father was a man of honor, a builder, a provider who believed in hard work. My mother was a phenomenal woman whose creativity flowed through her sewing machine, designing clothes with her hands and her vision. Together, they taught me the value of integrity, artistry, and perseverance.
That heritage is the foundation of everything I create. Lace by LANA is more than a brand it is a house built on family values, artistry, and vision. And Custom Carmen, my first archive collection, is where that vision comes alive.
I’ve always existed at the intersection of art and fashion. I’ve painted canvases and staged fashion shows inside galleries. I’ve modeled in front of the camera and worked behind it as a photographer, creative director, stylist, and makeup artist. I’ve collaborated with professional companies and major brands, but what fulfills me most is creating work that carries my personal stamp my eye, my touch, my story.
The Top 100 Flannels are the beginning of my archive. Each piece is numbered, signed, and transformed into a collectible work of art. Every flannel is hand-altered by me, photographed on real people, models, tattoo artists, influencers, creators and preserved as part of a larger statement. They are not just garments; they are art pieces tied to individuality, heritage, and identity.
This project is not about recreating what others have done. It is about standing out, setting a precedent, and honoring where I come from while shaping the future of fashion. I believe originality is the highest form of luxury.

I created Lace by Lana in the quiet after the storm the kind of storm that takes everything and dares you to rebuild. This brand is my rebellion. My resurrection. My love letter to every person who’s had to start over with nothing but dedication, determination , and a little lace.
